Les questions des TIC dans l’Education selon l’UNESCO

Les grandes questions sur lesquelles l’UNESCO se concentre en tant qu’expert et conseiller impartial sont:

Comment peut-on employer les TIC pour accélérer le progrès vers l’éducation pour tous et durant toute la vie?

Comment les TIC peuvent-elles entraîner un meilleur équilibre entre l’équité et l’excellence dans l’éducation?

Comment l’aide des TIC peut-elle réconcilier l’universalité et la spécificité locale du savoir?

Et comment l’éducation peut-elle préparer les individus et la société à maîtriser et à tirer bénéfice des TIC qui imprègnent de plus en plus tous les domaines de la vie?

Pour répondre à ces questions des TIC dans l’Education, le portail de l’UNESCO propose 97 liens qui ne fonctionnent pas tous car anciens et parmi lesquels j’ai retenu les suivants dans la catégorie des ONG pour la plupart.

Ma sélection est subjective bien entendu si vous voyez ce que je veux dire, toujours concernant Madagascar…le discours caché de mon blog me disait un(e) de mes meilleur(e)s ami(e)s virtuel(le)s l’année dernière (on peut avoir plusieurs meilleurs amis, même virtuels, soit dit en passant).

Je sais qu’il y a des ONG (avec ou sans TIC) dans le domaine de l’Education à Madagascar, mais je n’arrive pas à trouver le site qui les répertorie. Même sur le portail de l’UNESCO !!! Je navigue pas suffisamment là dedans, j’en suis sûre !!! Et vous, pourriez vous me les indiquer ? SVP ? Merci d’avance  😉

Université Virtuelle Africaine
L’Université virtuelle africaine (UVA) est une organisation intergouvernementale panafricaine qui a pour objectif le renforcement de l’accès à une formation et à un enseignement supérieur de qualité, grâce à l’utilisation novatrice des technologies de l’information et des communications. En tant qu’organisation africaine, l’UVA a pour mission le renforcement de l’accès à la formation et à l’enseignement supérieurs en se servant des méthodologies de l’enseignement libre, à distance et électronique (ODeL).
L’UVA a son siège à Nairobi, Kenya et dispose d’un bureau régional à Dakar, au Sénégal (Afrique de l’Ouest).
Un projet multinational
Le fond de la BAD appuie le développement et la mise en œuvre de ce projet dans dix pays africains : l’Ethiopie, le Kenya, Madagascar, le Mozambique, le Sénégal, la Somalie, la Tanzanie, l’Ouganda, la Zambie et le Zimbabwe, des fonds supplémentaires étant accordés par le PNUD à la Somalie.
Quels sont les volets du projet ?
Le projet est composé des volets suivants :
Création de Centres ODeL, fourniture de Connectivité et Programme de renforcement des capacités de l’AVU (ACEP) au niveau des Institutions partenaires de l’UVA;
Programme de formation et de perfectionnement des enseignants ; et
Intégration des questions de genre dans les activités de l’UVA.

Computers for Schools Kenya
Computers for Schools Kenya is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of e-competent young Kenyans through the provision of computers and auxiliary services to public secondary schools and related learning institutions and community access centres.

The New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE)
NYSCATE awards Grants each year for Outstanding Projects proposed by NYSCATE members. These grants, of up to $2,000 each, are awarded to teachers with a project that meets NYSCATE’s mission of transforming education through the use of technology.
NYSCATE also honors Outstanding Educational Technology Leaders & Outstanding Teachers. These competitive awards are given to those school leaders & teachers who show leadership and vision in implementing technology in their school or district. To nominate someone, you must be a NYSCATE member.
Applications and information for the 2010 Grant Program and Awards Program will be posted by February 1, 2010.

Giving a voice to children who struggle to communicate
The Oxford ACE Centre is independent charity whose role is to be a centre of information, support, and training for parents and professionals in the use of technology for young people in education who have communication difficulties, both in speaking and/or writing.
